I M P O R T A N T 2012-13 Book Orders Update: Online Book Orders 14-31 May: All the information will be coming in the form of an email sometime this week for parents to sign up their children for next year's book orders. Please remember this is an online sign-up only and all orders must be in and paid no later than Thursday, 31 May. If your child is leaving the NMS, you have to fill out THIS form. The day to day service in the Secondary Resources Centre is extremely busy, and this would greatly assist the efficient processing of enquiries and avoid unnecessary waiting/disappointment if Mrs Holzhäuser is not available. LANGUAGE PROGRAMMES NEW INFORMATION Read about the Spanish and French programme at NMS and the various options, so that you and your child can make an informed decision: Children in years 4, 6, and 8 will, in the next few months leading up to the new school year, face the choice of selecting Spanish or French as the second, or next, foreign language. Both are optional for year 5, one of them has to be chosen for year 7, and the other one can be selected additionally for year 9. There are also choices to be made for the upper secondary. For Music Parents and Others who have an interest in Musical Performances: The Choirs of the Nelson Mandela International School have started to rehearse for their first Musical Highlights performance.We are asking that all parents whose children are involved provide the costume for their child who is participating in the musical highlights. The performance is on the 24th of May at 4:30-5:30 and 6:00-7:00 PM. Tickets will be sold. This is the first attempt to start our Musical series. We are asking all parents to take part. For example we need assistance in the following departments: staging, costumes & make-up, lights & sound, set & props. We would like to thank all parents in advance for your support in this endeavor. For NMS-Primary Parents Final Primary Schulhof Plans are now online Frau Aziz, the Educator in charge of the the Schulhof Project, reports that the final plan has been drawn up for the Primary Schulhof.
